A Place Where Financial
Questions Are Welcomed
Sakda Thong was founded on a simple belief: adults who want to understand their money better deserve a space where curiosity is encouraged, not judged.

Built Around Respect
Sakda Thong began as a response to something we kept hearing: that many adults in their forties and fifties felt uncomfortable admitting they didn't fully understand their bank statements, pension options, or what financial sufficiency would actually look like for them.
We believed — and still believe — that this discomfort is unnecessary. Financial knowledge should not be reserved for those who studied economics or finance formally. With the right guidance and the right setting, most adults can develop a confident, working understanding of their own finances.
Our programmes are built for the adult learner who values thoughtfulness over speed. Participants bring their own questions, their own situations, and their own goals. We work with all of it.
Based in Bang Sue, Bangkok, we have been quietly doing this work since 2016 — serving individuals, couples, and occasionally small groups of colleagues who want to work through financial topics together.

Our Approach and Standards
Participant Privacy
Financial discussions are personal. Everything shared in our sessions stays within the room. We do not share participant information or session content with anyone outside our team.
Impartial Guidance
We are an education provider, not a financial product seller. We receive no commissions or referral fees. Our guidance is shaped only by what is relevant to each participant's situation.
Qualified Facilitators
All sessions are led by facilitators with relevant professional backgrounds in banking, personal finance, or adult education. We do not use guest presenters for core content.
Current Content
Thailand's pension landscape and banking regulations change. Our materials are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect the most recent rules and options available to participants.
Small Group Sizes
We cap group sessions at eight participants. This ensures every person has time to ask questions and receive responses that are relevant to their own circumstances.
Feedback-Driven Improvement
Participants are invited to share feedback after every session. We use this input to refine how we teach, not just what we teach.
Financial Literacy for Adults in Bangkok and Beyond
Sakda Thong operates at the intersection of financial knowledge and adult learning. Our work focuses specifically on the practical side of personal finance — reading documents, planning contributions, and mapping out what enough looks like. These are skills that formal education rarely provides, and that can make a meaningful difference at any stage of adult life.
Our facilitators draw on years of direct experience within Thailand's financial sector. They understand the specific structures available to residents of Thailand: the Social Security Fund, the National Savings Fund, voluntary SSF contributions, and the various private pension products offered by Thai financial institutions. This local specificity is central to what we do.
We work primarily with adults in their forties and fifties who are beginning to think more deliberately about the decades ahead. Many participants arrive with vague but important questions: Am I putting enough aside? Do I understand what I have? What would it actually take for me to feel financially settled? Our programmes are designed to help turn those questions into clear, actionable understanding.
Sakda Thong is not affiliated with any bank, insurance company, or investment firm. We receive no product referral fees. Our work is funded entirely through programme enrolments, which means our sole interest is in the quality of your learning experience.
